Dr. Confer’s dedication to expanding her knowledge and understanding of healthcare led her across the Atlantic to Regency University in London, where she completed coursework towards a minor in Human and Bioethics. This international experience broadened her perspective on ethical considerations within healthcare, emphasizing the importance of patient-centered, ethically sound practices in her future career.

Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Confer pursued her passion for natural and holistic healthcare at the National University of Health Sciences, where she achieved academic excellence, earning the honor of valedictorian. She completed her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees, further solidifying her expertise in holistic healing modalities. Her comprehensive education and clinical training equipped her with a deep understanding of the body’s innate ability to heal itself when supported through natural means. Throughout her career, Dr. Confer has closely collaborated with Dr. Josh Redd, DC, NMD, MS, MAPHB, a renowned expert in the field of holistic medicine. She credits Dr. Redd for much of her success, as his mentorship and guidance have been instrumental in shaping her approach to patient care .Dr. Confer’s dedication to her craft and her patients led her to establish Revive Integrative Health, a thriving practice located in the picturesque north Chicago suburbs of Glenview Illinois.

This series explores the essential connection between the mind, body, and spirit, offering holistic tools and integrative health education to empower individuals toward sustainable well-being. Each session will include a wellness workshop followed by a complementary mindfulness practice to deepen integration.

A former NCAA Division 1 athlete, Samantha graduated from Oakland University with a bachelor’s degree designed for aspiring healthcare professionals. Samantha earned her masters degree in Human Nutrition from Drexel University and completed a rigorous dietetic internship at Yale New Haven Hospital. Liz Oncel

Liz Oncel is an Integrative Trauma Practitioner, known for her innovative and compassionate approach to healing. She blends evidence-based modalities with dual master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology & Neuroscience, advanced training in EMDR, Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Inherited Family Trauma, Mindful Self-Compassion, and somatic techniques to accessible and powerful experiences.

Kristen Simons

Kristen Simons is a licensed mental health therapist and yoga teacher specializing in high-functioning anxiety, women’s health, and perinatal care. In addition, this summer, she is completing her 12-month training to become a Perinatal Corrective Exercise Specialist.  Through her private practice in Evanston and online, Kristen offers individual counseling and therapeutic yoga for adults—particularly women navigating the physical and emotional transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.

She also teaches prenatal and postpartum yoga at Grateful Yoga in Evanston and facilitates a quarterly postpartum yoga and support group, both in person and virtually, creating accessible spaces for connection and healing.

As a fellow mom and certified perinatal mental health professional, Kristen is passionate about nurturing emotional well-being and empowering women through every stage of life. She loves collaborating with like-minded professionals and is committed to fostering community through holistic, integrative care.
